Who I am.
I am Katharina, but you can also call me Kate or Kat. I live in Sweden, but do like to travel, always seeking for new adventures and inspired by authenticity and simplicity.
I love to capture what is true, real and from the heart.

My Story
Everyone starts small, and while every journey has a point where it starts, it never really has a finish line. It is important to embrace every moment on the way and define the path as the goal. I have had many intersections, congestions and stop signs on my way, but I learned a lesson from every single one and enjoy the ride with pure gratitude when heading to a greenlight (can highly recommend reading Matthew McConaughey's book Greenlights, definitely shaped our thinking).
My Motivation
The key to experiencing joy through your work is to do what you are passionate about. My projects, collaborations and visions are my passion and motivation. Struggling to sleep because of anticipation for the great things to come is so much better than struggling to sleep because of anxiety towards the next day of work.
This does not mean my work is easy and I do not take it seriously! It just means that I enjoy the challenges and especially overcoming them.
There are so many beautiful, heartbreaking, eye-opening and encouraging stories out there and I feel the need to document those true and real moments and feelings.
My Values
It is important to me to stay true to what I stand for. This means capturing forgiveness, gratitude, faith, joy, passion, love and obviously gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. If you are interested in a static, setup recreation of something someone really creative has published, that is cool and we can make a plan to capture that for you, but this will neither be you as the unique being you are, nor my approach to art and storytelling.
In any case, please share your ideas with me, maybe we can define a vision together and turn it into a photograph.
